The 1.8t Little Digger

The Hitachi ZAXIS 17U digger is simple to use, flexible and reliable. We provide the digger on an easy to tow trailer, provide a selection of buckets, and a water blaster to clean all equipment before it's returned.
What you get:
Safety Bag
900mm Tilt Bucket / Cleaning Bucket
450mm Rock Bucket
300mm Spade Bucket
Water Blaster
Trailer - you will need a 50mm tow ball to tow the trailer (there are spare tow balls on site which we can swap over).
The trailer has an independent braking system built into it.
SAFETY COMES FIRST
While the digger is small, its hydraulic force is significant and can cause harm to people and property if not operated responsibly.
Before operating the digger, reading the safety instructions is a requirement of our hire agreement.

One hard hat
Ear muffs
Eye protection
INSTRUCTIONS
The controls can look daunting at first, but after following some simple instructions to disembark the trailer, we encourage operators to see what each lever and control does. The diagrams below will help.
